Your first two days have been fun to read! OMG that shuttle ride, and tornado sirens! More excitement than you expected I'm sure. How did the handlebar bag work out? I am looking at that for our trip.
Oh, I loved the handlebar bag! I kept my wallet, chap-stick, phone (when it was raining) and other essentials. I loved it because everything in it was easily accessible and and easy to remove when we went into a restaurant/shop. It seemed waterproof, but I threw a ziploc bag secured with rubber-bands (the only things I had available) over it during the couple of downpours...just to be sure ;)!
Congratulations! Looking forward to reading your report, as I have enjoyed your posts about preparations and gear.
ReplyDeleteThank you! It's my goal to finishing updating throughout this next week!
